With over 19 years of leadership experience across energy, fashion, philanthropy, and the arts, she has built a career defined by vision, structure, and impact. As the Managing Director of Suncontractors group and Suncontractors project services.Olubunmi Akinbobola, a dynamic leader manages the human resources of the company and is also responsible for organizational development, and strategic operations across multiple subsidiaries in energy, engineering, and gas distribution. Her leadership has helped shape policy, strengthen teams, and support sustainable growth in the industry.
Beyond corporate leadership, Olubunmi is the Founder and CEO of Cegullah Royal Apparel, a fashion brand known for quality craftsmanship and timeless design. From school uniforms and corporate wear to bridal and ready-to-wear collections, she leads the brand’s creative direction, merchandising, and strategy with a clear commitment to excellence.
Demonstrating strong commitment to philanthropy with a heart for service ,Olubunmi and her husband founded Beauty for Ashes Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children, women, and underserved communities. Through scholarships, skills acquisition programs and outreach initiatives, skills for girls and women,Talent development for youths,the foundation continues to create meaningful change and restore dignity to families.
Olubunmi is also a passionate recording and performing artist, skilled in vocal performance, song writing and live stage production and a virtual host.Since her debut album Double Honor in 2014, she has used music as a tool for gospel ministry and youth empowerment. Her latest album, Called Out by Grace (2024), reflects her faith, growth, and creative depth.She hosts a monthly virtual worship program on prevailing praise youtube, a platform that blesses a lot of people globally.
She studied Mass Communication as her first degree in the University of Lagos, alongside certifications in Human Resources Management in Texas, Fashion Business Essentials from Parsons School of Design, and Music Industry Essentials from NYU School of the Arts.
